So I play a lot of video games. Sure I do. But my heart will always belong to cartoons. And I’m here today, friends, to tell you about a very important cartoon.

Will the Real Dr. Claw Please Stand-Up?
No villain has ever sparked my interest and wonder more than Dr. Claw. Yeah sure, other villains may be more convoluted than Dr. Claw. They might have better back stories, darker intentions, or be all around cooler than Dr. Claw but all of these points just do not have a hold over me. Dr. Claw is just a guy who wants to start shit and I respect that. Why does a villain need a dark past or a deep reason to just wanna mess with things. I think this makes Claw interesting and unique but what caused him to really hold my attention was that I never ever got to see his face!

Old School is the Best School
I was sitting around my parents’ house a few days ago watching T.V. with one of my nephews. I needed this break from campus because just too many people were wanting to hang out, asking for autographs, or wanting to just touch me in general. I know, it’s hard to imagine that I’m that popular but what do you expect with a nickname like “Jetâ€. I’m kinda a big deal…a really big deal. Ok, enough of the shameless self-promotion, back to my very important topic. OK, so I’m being a huge loser watching cartoons with my 9-year-old nephew.  It had been awhile since I’ve watched actual Saturday morning cartoons since I became a big boy and graduated to AdultSwim (Venture Brothers, Family Guy, etc). I was excited to return to my glory days of mindless fascination but I was disappointed to find that I was oddly bored with all of the cartoons that I watched. It mainly seemed like every other show was an attempt at copying Spongebob humor or an attempt to be EXTREME and AWESOME!!! Where were all of the goofy cartoons that really rode their characters’ personalities to be funny or used the time-tested formula of mixing humans and animals?
Hello gamers!
I’m Charles, the Animation Director for Moose Fish Cartoons a new branch off of the GameZombie line of content. I’m working with a team of 7 folks at GameZombie to bring you all a really great collection of originally created cartoons. As we get closer to our roll out date I’ll be posting teasers trailers and promo for our work, but I’ll also be making regular comments on our production process trying to show all of you some of how we work under the hood, and as relevant news about cartoons floats my way I’ll be gracing all of you with my opinions and comments.
Right now we are still in the early stages of production, we’ve just approved a handful of shows to concentrate on, and just came up with logo for our cartoon group. Check it:

What do you think? Let us know in the comments. Its a first draft of the logo and you’ll only see it at the end of our cartoons, but I’m liking where it’s going. Strange, unassuming, and doesn’t really have much to do with either moose of fish.
We’ve also got some more logo work to show you regarding our flagship cartoons.
The Red Light Variety Jam:

TRLVJ is going to be a 7min show that carries a lot of our shorts, and a few longer running serials. If you’ve seen The Frederator Show you’ve got a general idea of what we are going for. We want to have a way of showing off our shorts and other works in a contained format rather than just flooding our video output with tons of shorts. The plan is to get a grand old host to introduce the cartoons and put out regular episodes. Expect us to launch TRLVJ in January.
Henchies:

Henchies is a show that I’m particularly excited about. The brainchild of one of our GZ team members that has crossed over to work with animation this will be a show about 8-bit villains trying to survive in the real world, while working for supervillains is nothing but an hourly 9-5 job. Largely inspired by the Brendon Small method of improvisational/observational style of comedy we hope to deliver a really entertaining confessional style show about how much it actually sucks to be someone’s Henchman. Also coming in January.
We’ve got a lot of other things in the works right now, but we’re on the very start of art production, so nothing to properly show off right now.. But don’t fret, I’ll keep posting as things keep getting interesting!
Don’t forget to tell us what you think of the logo in the comments!
Oh, here are some great classic & newer online cartoons you should totally check out!
